Aeolus Wind Trio
October 20, 2024
Wonderful Wind Beautifully and Breezily Blown
Inspired by the ancient Greek deity Aeolus, Keeper of the Winds, the excellent Aeolus Wind Trio is one of Canberra’s longest-lived music ensembles.
Expect bright and cheerful light classical music plus baroque and folk tunes played with skill and joy. The trio will play some 200 years after the Hume and Hovell expedition re-grouped just outside today’s Gunning village and then set off south. It is likely they will include some music popular during the era.
Full details of this concert, to be held Sunday afternoon, 20 October, will be announced nearer the time. Watch this space for updates.
